ESSAT Surgical Learning Area (SLA) during UEGW

The ESSAT council was very enthusiastic to present the new and improved ESSAT SLA during the UEGW2020 in Amsterdam but the global pandemic has decided otherwise. The new SLA will have two components;

1. Scheduled lectures and
2. Circuit training throughout the whole day.

The faculty for the scheduled lectures will talk about issues that are interesting for both surgeons and gastroenterologists and there will be room for discussions.

The training circuit will include basic skills stations, OSCE stations and VR stations.
